Over time, I have employed multiple color techniques on my vase designs. The original design had three thick bits drawn from the shoulder to the base, I often used “reducing” colors (i.e. Gold, Iris and Silver Blue) to achieve an iridescent effect. Corresponding to the three vertical bits, I would cut three notches into the lip, making what I call “Flared & Trimmed.” I also used Thread and Feather techniques along with “Rolled-up” color confetti for surface color.
