Thread & Feathering is probably my favorite color technique. I was first exposed to seeing it from my college professors slides of “Gallé” and “Later Lalique” glasswork. A lot of the glassblowing process is muscle memory for me. Feathering forces my brain into the “What next?” mode to continue to make various patterns.
