Astral Plane
KU School of Nursing
Located at the KU School of Nursing in Salina, KS, Astral Plane is a glass artwork illustrating the large expanse of the Kansas sky. The work emphasizes the importance and need for rural medicine practices by honoring the artist’s birthplace and lived experiences, as well as the university’s history in nursing.
